SANDRA L. MILLER, born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, grew up in York County, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Millersville University, Pennsylvania, with a Master’s Degree in Art Education. She is a retired art teacher and retired co-owner and manager of the Mountain Hideaway Bed and Breakfast in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. KARA ROSE originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania founded Karaline Designs in 2017 as a way to bring her creativity and love of art to the forefront. Kara secured her bachelor’s degree in art education from Edinboro University in 1987 and her master’s degree in art education in 1993 from Millersville University. She resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, drawing inspiration from the vibrant cultures of the area, which inform her charming illustrations throughout Teachable Moments.
